I’m Jeremy Washburn, and I’m a real estate guy with a passion for personal finance. My real estate career has evolved from buying, fixing, and selling (flipping) homes. I founded my own real estate brokerage. And, I became a residential and commercial real estate developer and a real estate blogger.
I was an MBA grad with an emphasis in finance. I owned a small real estate brokerage and was a recently new homeowner. I found myself trying to figure out where my money was going and get my Home in Order. At my kitchen table, I pored over countless spreadsheets and models. Then I discovered the foundations of Homes in Order: $1 equals $5. Additionally, $2 equals $1,000. I learned how to literally turn $1 into $5, and then how to turn $2 into $1,000.
I’m happily married with 3 kids. I enjoy front row seats to my kids’ soccer, baseball, softball, and basketball games. I also attend their track meets, bike races, piano recitals, and orchestra, band, and choir concerts. I’m a NICA certified high school mountain bike coach and love the outdoors.
